Filmstudio Lüneburg GmbH a.k.a., Lüneburg Film Studios ® is a registered German Film Entertainment Production House in Lüneburg (Lunenburg), Germany. The company, a subsidiary of the “REESE Gruppe”, was born in 2021, by acquiring BFS-Hollywood, in

the United States.

In 2022 the Film Studio acquired a number of stories and screenplays and presented

its Future Production Slot to the Board of Directors of its parental organization.

The first greenlit production was then promoted at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival,

where it was decided to prioritize “Climate Change” and “Global Warming” as

subject for the first production.

In June 2022, Filmstudio Lüneburg, relocated its central administration offices

to Am Sande in Lüneburg which is in the prestigious historic site of the so

called German Sleeping Beauty.

The award-winning movie, “The Mad King®” is the firm’s first

cinematic full length feature film written and directed by

Borsu Highson and starring Kai Helm, Jeju Caron, and

Karin Angele. The movie was shot in 2022 in Northern

Germany and France and was completed and promoted

at the 2023 prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
